I had interested friends ask me to keep you updated, and I am so grateful for those of you who followed along with my journal and went, in spirit, with me to Uganda. I get texts everyday, via WhatsApp, from my new friends across the globe. I am happy to keep you informed.
Your prayers are working. I just learned there has been rain at the RG mission compound the last several days. Nurse Patrick thanks you for your prayers, and hopes this good soaking will be just what the gardens (farms) need these last weeks before harvest in a couple weeks.
I have a new prayer concern. My friend, Zam, the sweet one who had me over on her birthday and who gave us the video matooke-making lesson, has malaria in the third trimester of pregnancy. She asks for prayers for herself, her unborn son, Noah, and her husband, Robert (my buddy) for patience while she is in the hospital.
Some of the ladies sent their beadwork home with me to sell. So If you have an interest in supporting my Ugandan friends, and their incredibly time-consuming bead-craft appeals to you, please contact me. I am willing to mail them if you are willing to support these ladies. Contributions can be made at this link. Thank you.
